We got our 171H!!!!!

It came today, but it had I-797C at the top, so I was very confused. For those of you who don’t know what I am talking about, that is the paper we have been waiting on from immigration stating that we are approved to adopt. Now we send that, along with our dossier, to Guatemala and will be able to get a referral very soon!!!! We are so excited! I didn’t want to get my hopes up when I first saw it, because of those other numbers on it, but it did say we were approved, so I was very confused. But I asked a bunch of people, and finally talked to Teresa at Baby Steps, and she said that was it. We have one more document we are waiting on from Florida, then I send it back to Miami to get authenticated, which Teresa said takes only about a day. And then we send everything to Guatemala and wait to meet our little guy. I can’t believe it is so close! I have been thinking about this for so long. Also a little scary because we are not at the $10,000 mark that we need to be at when we get the referral. But, God will provide! So anyway, I just wanted to share our exciting news.
