On the waiting list!

Todd and I just got back from a great relaxing week in O.C Maryland. It was wonderful!!! But anyway, about the adoption…I am part of a yahoo group and all the members are adopting from Baby Steps, which is our agency. And one of the ladies who is right about the same place that we are in the process said she talked to Teresa a day or two ago, and found out that she is fifth on the waiting list and we are before her. So, all I know right now is that we are at least fourth. Yeah!!! And I think that everyone before us is requesting girls, which means we could go past any of them at any time. Not that it’s a race, but I’m just saying that because it really doesn’t even matter what order we are in because boy referrals come quicker than girls. So, it could be real soon! I am soooo excited!

And Teresa called while we were on vacation and just said that she got our new pictures that we took, and everything is on it’s way to Guatemala. So we just have to get those two documents re-done and send them to Guatemala to be put in our file. I’m a little nervous because it could take a month or more to have them ready to send there, because they have to be state certified and authenticated all over again. But I think we should still have plenty of time before we enter PGN, which is where all the documents get approved or denied. So, just be praying these two documents get there on time. Good friends of ours from church have put together a yard sale for us tomorrow, so you can also pray that that goes well.
