No more paperwork!
We are pretty much done! I am sending the home study to USCIS (Immigration) on Mon. and have all the other paper work we need. We are going to drive it to Harrisburg next week, to get state certified, and then send it all off to NY and then to Teresa at Baby Steps. And then from there she sends it to Guatemala to get translated.
I talked to Teresa the other day, and she said it would probably be more like the end of July beginning of Aug. before we got our referral. I’m a little bummed about that. I was hoping it would be earlier in July, but God knows who he is and will bring us to him in His time.
If we get the referral when Teresa is guessing we will, with all the other things that have to be done, we will probably bring him home sometime in Jan. So, stay posted and I will continue to fill you in as things progress.

YAY….it feels so good when you get the paperwork done, CONGRATS! I loved that part because I felt like I had control of what got accomplished.
It was a little different for me, I had a referral before we began all of the paperwork, but I can’t wait to see pics of your little one, soon I hope!
