It’s a match!
I just got an email from Teresa saying DNA was done and it’s a match! They had to check the DNA between Mason and his birthmom to make sure she was really his birthmom. This is just something they have to do, so that when she signs all the papers, they have proof that she is really his birthmom. This is great news, because things are moving along! Now we are waiting for pre-approval from the US Embassy. Teresa said I should get an email from them soon about that. I will keep you posted! YEAH, one step closer!!!!
On another note, please be praying for his birthmom. I don’t know her story (hopefully we will learn more about her) but I can’t imagine any of this is easy for her. During DNA she had to get a picture with Mason. That is the last time she will see him. It makes me very sad to think about that. Just pray God will give her a peace and support system around her.
