Well, things were going a little to smoothly, that I was starting to get nervous. But, I no longer have to be nervous. :o) I talked to Teresa from Baby Steps last night after I faxed her all our documents for her to review. There are about 6 that we have to do over because the signatures aren’t legible. So, after being very frustrated last night, I got to work. Two of the documents we have to get done over are our medical letters, which were a pain to do in the first place. So, I sent out an email to a bunch of people in our area to see if they new a notary who could meet me at our doctors office to notarize the document. My friend Beth called this morning and said she had forwarded my email to her mother-in-law, who works at a bank. So, her mother-in-law gave her the name and number of a lady she knows who is a notary at a bank which is actually right down the road from our doctors office. So, I called the lady this morning and she is going to meet me at the office on Thursday!!! The receptionist at the doctors office gave me the doctors schedule and just told me to call before we come. So, that is taken care of. I just need to make sure that he signs it VERY legibly, which we all know doctors do so well!
The other documents are going to be a little easier. Two of them are Todd’s and only one of them has to be mailed back to us. So, hopefully everything will be done and acceptable by the middle to end of next week.

What a hassle, but isn’t it neat that other people are getting involved and getting a chance to hear your story. Just a thought that occurred to me as I was reading your post.

YOUR child just isn’t ready yet and God knows it :)) You’re most likely going to have several to many of these bizarre-level setbacks. Every time it happens you will have a range of emotions…. but you wind up learning to face God and say, “I know You are good! I know You love us and it’s going to be more than fine!”
I know how hard and annoying it is, but I agree with Dan… it’s so wonderful to watch God iron out your bumps and to be able to share that story with others. You can minister to people thru all of it!
